Drugs

Your Legal Rights Are My Business

When it comes to criminal offenses, some of the most common ones that we see on a day to day basis are drug charges.  None of these offenses, however, should be treated as common, rather each one should be handled on an individual basis because each has its own impact on its recipient.

Some offenses, however, can be punished by over 23 years in prison!  Don't trust your legal needs in these matters to just anyone.  Put your trust in Mike.

  • Drug Possession: Charges of drug possession can range from a Misdemeanor to a Felony depending on the substance charged.

  • Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver: All offenses in which someone is accused of Possessing with Intent or actually selling or delivering a controlled substance are felonies in the State of North Carolina.

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substances: Trafficking in a controlled substance in North Carolina merely entails possessing, transporting, or distributing above a certain amount of a controlled substance.  Trafficking charges carry some of the most severe punishments in the criminal justice system as indicated below:

Obviously, the consequences of a drug conviction are incredibly significant.  Mike will look at every angle of your case to fight your drug charge. Rest assured, that if you're charged with a drug crime, our team will thoroughly investigate and challenge the evidence against you. If the State has a strong case against you we will either work hard to either prevent a conviction or to prevent some of the worst consequences of jail time or the mandatory fines.
